  • Character storyboard: Choose 1 character (Scout, Jem, Atticus, Boo, Calpurnia) and create a storyboard that depicts their development and involvement in the first half of the story (Chap 1-11).  You will need to reference your timeline.  Choose 1 quote for each chapter to define/explain/look at that character’s development.  You can do this digitally (storyboard) or old school paper.  Due Monday, Dec. 17th.

  • Most group are finishing Section 4 today, preparing for Discussion #4 either today or tomorrow.  You are almost halfway, so discussions should be getting deeper and longer.  I will be sitting in on a discussion, please let me know if you want it to be #4 or #5.  This will be my observation and assessment of your discussion skills.

How is Miss Caroline characterized (think of direct/indirect), what does that tell us about her character?  How is standardized education portrayed and what might that mean?
