*Poetry

This lesson is about learning rhythm and scansion.  It is usually a harder topic to learn.  It is regarding how to learn iambic pentameter or trochaic tetrameter for example.

“Casey at the Bat”:  please read the poem on the first link.  After you read the poem, you can watch the two attached cartoons below.  After, you can work on the questions attached to the poem on the first link.  The second link is an additional resource.

Looking Forward To This  Week and Next:  you will be creating Inspiration Poems:  You will be posting this onto Teams (tentative due date:  Friday May 1st….you can choose any program, software video tools that you think best will work for you….This is an assignment that will be ongoing over BOTH this week and next…so please don’t stress that there may seem to be a lot posted this week…we can also talk about this on Tuesday when we meet:)
