Yesterday we worked on our essay outlines and we were to complete up to the end of Body Parargaph #2 for homework….

–run-ons and fragments: within the “writing” folder on sharepoint, there is another folder called “grammar”.  Open this folder.  There is a document called “fragments run-ons”.  We will work on the first 4 worksheets of this package.  My hopes is that you will be better able to identify fragments and run-ons withing your own writing…

-Go through a few examples of “Student Samples” of synthesis essays from the provincial exam.

Today, you will have time to work on your outline –to complete body paragraphs number 3 and your conclusion.

-From your outline, you will start to write your draft of your essay.
