Good Morning!

Volunteers:  Mary Hill PAC meeting is Wednesday March 6 from 7-8/8:30pm

Promotion Videos: Criteria and Rubrics –Backward Design

1. As a class we will brainstorm CRITERIA that your Promotion Video must contain.

2. In your groups, you will be creating a rubric that you will be assessed on.  Below is the starting point. Various categories are:  Message/Content, Images and Music, Storyboard and Script, Video Editing, Audio Editing, and Collaboration.

a) Each group will open the document and then copy/paste to create their own groups collaborative rubric (otherwise you will be working on one document with all 30 of you.)

b) Work as a group to complete the rubric.  Remember Active Listening and Constructive Feedback!

c)  Be prepared to be assessed on the rubric you have created!

REASONS TO CREATE A LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT / STATEMENT OF RECONCILIATION
1. To acknowledge
Indigenous histories;
2. To acknowledge that Indigenous Peoples were here first;
3. To acknowledge that
there were Nation-to-Nation
agreements;
4. To acknowledge that these
agreements led to treaties;
5. To acknowledge that it is
because of these treaties that we
have a country called Canada
