-“No Red Ink” permission forms: please hand in if you have not yet done so
-Reader Response: “House” Question: How does the author, Jane Rule, use Irony to create humour?
– Yesterday each student created a chart that went through situational, verbal, and dramatic Irony. We also looked at the “reader response rubric” found in the short story folder on sharepoint.
-Today we are finishing the writing of our reader response.
-After the reader response is complete, do a self assessment of your reader response using the reader response rubric.
-Post Reader response onto Edublog. You are also responsible for commenting on at least one other students reader response. We are doing this clockwise –each student commenting on the student to their left.
-“Choices”: We are starting a new short story. We will read this aloud in class.
