Good Morning,
Yesterday, we wrote our quiz on “short story terms”. There are a few more people who still need to write this.
-We will continue to read our novel “If I Should Die Before I Wake” aloud in class. We are now on Chapter 6.
–
“You have to understand that no one puts their children in a boat unless the water is safer than the land” –Warsan Shire “Home”
We will get back into our paragraphs on “Identities”.
*A few things you should add to your paragraphs…..
please go through your rough drafts and enter in any transitional expressions that may help improve the flow of your writing. You should also add in at least one quote from the story “Identities” to support your argument.
Above is a copy of the short story “Identities” in case you need it again to get a quote. (You should download a copy for yourself so that you have a copy to study from when we get to our short story test….
