Let’s continue our exploration of how our worldviews shape our perspective

Start thinking about what frames your world view.

  • Why do we respect things that are written down and presented with authority (Ie church setting)
  • The stories we are told define our world view (Christian stories tend to be set up as good vs. evil, where as there isn’t “evil” characters in indigenous literature. Characters can be “Tricksters” but they are not even and often help bring about changes.
  • Now I want you to read pages 10-20 again in your pair/group and recreate the creation story as a tableau, comic, lego people, or play dough. (10 min) Take a picture as you will be uploading this as part of your worldview response
  • Fill in t-chart on key ideas and link to course themes.
