FOUNDATION COURSE: ROBOTICS 11, COMPETITIVE ROBOTICS 11, COMPUTER PROGRAMMING 11, DRAFTING 11, ENGINEERING 11, PRE-CALCULUS 11, PHYSICS 11 and/or TECH TEAM

This advanced course offers students the opportunity to explore their potential in Robotics Design and Manufacture as a way of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Students will enhance their skills in a practical and hands-on environment. Students may work as members of design teams, in a variety of roles to research, design, build, manufacture, program, and test robots.  Students may also have the opportunity of competing in VEX Robotics competitions locally and provincially.

Content Areas:  electrical theory, production of circuits, electric diagnostic testing, PCB board design and manufacture, Advanced CAD (Computer Aided Design), Advanced CAM (Computer Aided Manufacture), robot design, robot elements programming platforms.
