Robotics 11 is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) course where students will learn the skills in design, program, and develop the electronics to engineer their own robot. Using a variety of resources and software, including Sphero robots, Vex, Sumo Bots, Arduino Boards, circuit boards, sensors, and motors, students will complete a series of electronics projects to learn the fundamentals of digital circuits and programming, CAD (Computer Aided Design), CAM (Computer Aided Manufacture). Students will have the opportunity to design and build a custom robot to solve real-world problems and/or compete in competitive robotics.

Content Areas:  Electrical theory, production of circuits, electric diagnostic testing, CAD (Computer Aided Design), CAM (Computer Aided Manufacture), robot design, robot elements programming platforms.
