The long branches

I’m from the celebrations and the warmth

From Vancouver Island to St. John’s

I’m from the strength and happiness

From peace and innovation

I’m from the hope, and determination

I’m from Vancouver

The apples, and the raspberries

From the hard working father who came from nothing

The house with the others on the hill

Our home in which I have spent my whole life
