” I’d like to inquire about a lot,” the old man said, the effort of decision evident in his voice. “At my age you never know…” Page 115
Rising action:
” I’d prefer an older location. ” The old man down at his unpolished shoes, embarrassed. ” I mean, where trees and shrubs have had a chance to grow.” Page 115
Rising action:
“I’d like a good view.” The old man explained. ” but more important, privacy.” Page 117
Rising action:
” No, I like it the way it is–wild and secret and uncared-for–hidden by thicket of branches.” For some time, the old man stood there, gazing off into the distance. “Am I allowed…” he hesitated, correcting himself. ” Is the purchaser allowed to visit it at any time?”. Page 117
Climax:
“Ouch!” yelled Mr. Jerome. ” That cursed bee stung me.” ” I’m sorry,” the old man said, ” but that sting costs the bee its life.” Then it was that Mr.Jerome begun to understand. The full implications left him aghast. There was no precedent for thisin all cemetery history. ” How dare you operate a bee hive in this cemetery?” Page 119
Falling action:
” I’m not soliciting business. The bees are just going about there normal and natural pursuits. Besides, Rest Haven Nectar brings a special price.” ” You sell the honey?” Page 120
