This is my article

This article really interests me because it talked about how materialistic things only provide happiness temporarily no matter how many promises of happiness the object has. For Killingsworth what truly gave him happiness were the moments and experiences he had. What I liked about the authors style of writing was that it was very factual and almost meaningful, to the point where I could relate to when he talked about how long lasting memories and experiences can make you happy. This made me think of my own past experiences. This article is sort scientific in the way that it talks about psychology and so it really talks about how we think of happiness and what truly makes people happy. They said that living in a moment is not really possible, but we should live waiting for an experience. I relate this to the human condition because today all of us are so invested in technology that it becomes our lives, but if we were to put down our phones and create experiences that truly make us happy then our existence would be more meaningful.
