Peace, Unity, and Changing the World by Disobeying-1u1h749
Things I did well:
- One thing I recognized that I’ve improved on from before was transitioning from my evidence to my argument in order to make a more effective essay overall.
- I also tried on expanding and digging deeper into research and understanding civil disobedience before starting to write my essay, rather than to find sources and write at the same time. I feel like this made my essay a little more informative than it would’ve been if I didn’t put effort into looking at civil disobedience
Things I will improve for next time:
- Grammar and spelling mistakes is something I need to minimize. Usually I have a friend check my essay before handing it in, but since this was an in-class essay I didn’t have the opportunity to do that so many errors passed by me on the paper. Although I did read my essay a couple times before handing it in, next time I’ll put a little more effort into scanning my paper.
- I can also focus on making my tone of voice more formal; as for some parts of the essay, a slight informal voice may have slipped out in order to create a nice topic sentence for the start of a paragraph.
