I started with the oval for the head and slowly added in features. I knew I wanted wavy hair like mine so I used the sin function to get the waves (though it took me a bit to figue out how to restrict it). It took a lot of work to make it less horrifying, and finally I got something that won’t keep every person who looks at it up at night.

I made multiple versions of most of the parts of my face. At first, the eyes were two round and the mouth was too big. The biggest challenge was figuring out how to use all ten functions. I looked at past projects to figue out how people made the eyes and mouth, and I asked for help when I got stuck with the hair. The aha moments mostly came from when I would figue out where to use a specific function. The neck, shoulders and collar bone were last minute additions after I didn’t like how the shirt I added looked. One of my key strategies was looking at the different graphs and imagining how they could be used in my project. Bellow are some more creepy previous versions. Only having six colours made it even more difficult. When trying to replicate the brown, the closest options were black or orange and orange made me look like a clown. Same with eye colour, they were red for a while but black was more accurate.
