Paper Mache (PROCESS)

This is a drawing of my chimaera, a combination of a deer and a dragon. I first struggled figuring out how to build the deer’s head. I originally intended to make a large round ball for the head and a smaller ball for the mouth, but that design turned out quite weird. I chose to build three little balls for the head instead after speaking to my teacher. While for the antlers, I create the shape using tin foil and wrapped it with newspaper.

I use hot glue to attach the antlers and mouth to the head after connecting the balls with tape, newspaper, and balls.

My teacher suggested that I use tinfoil to improve the appearance of the head because it appears a little off if I merely attach them by using glue.

After finishing the basic structure of my chimera, I created the deer’s teeth.
