The name of my coil pot is Mujigae, which means “rainbow” in Korean. It is a clay coil pot that is painted with acrylic. Overall, I am very satisfied with the final outcome of my pot because the colour of the pot was not planned, but it exceeded my expectations. Through this project, I learned new clay techniques and how important it is to wedge clay for a longer period of time so that the pottery won’t fall apart due to air bubbles.
