ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES 11
COURSE CODE: MEVSC11

This course is attached to the Ecological Studies Cohort. Environmental Sciences 11 provides students with working knowledge of how ecosystems function in our local environment. Through hands on activities in class and fieldwork outside of class students will explore their natural world and understand what is happening around them by learning how the abiotic and biotic world are interconnected. This course covers the topics of diversity, change, sustainability, stewardship, and restoration of Ecosystems. This course will be taught through a variety of activities including class work, projects, labs, and field experiments. Some of the concepts taught will be through the lens of marine biology and the role the ocean plays in our world.
