Bard on the Beach – Reflection

During this experience, the things I liked most about it was probably all the activities we did in the beginning like transferring our energy, learning how to be aware with people holding the balls and when we had to insult people using lines Shakespeare wrote. I learned how to be more aware and attentive and how Shakespeare wrote his plays in iambic pentameters. I learned why Shakespeare is still popular today and how he could connect with everyone he met with his plays.

Song Analysis

Wise men say
Only fools rush in
But I can’t help falling in love with you
Shall I stay?
Would it be a sin?
If I can’t help falling in love with you

Like a river flows
Surely to the sea
Darling, so it goes
Some things are meant to be

Take my hand
Take my whole life too
For I can’t help falling in love with you

Like a river flows
Surely to the sea
Darling, so it goes
Some things are meant to be

Take my hand
Take my whole life, too
For I can’t help falling in love with you
For I can’t help falling in love with you
