This week in math we learned how to find the volume of a cone. First, you start off with the formula v=1/3 x (area of base) x h, Next, you would just plug in the numbers in the proper places and calculate it. Say you don’t have one of the numbers, let’s go with height, then you would use the equation h² + r² = s². So now you put in the radius and the slant height and calculate the height of the cone. You can now find the volume of the entire cone using the first formula since you have all the proper numbers to plug in it.
