First they came for the black slaves

and I did not speak out

because I was not a black slave

 

Then they came for the Syrian Refugees

and I did not speak out

because I was not a Syrian refugee

 

Then they came for the Muslim Rohingyan People

and I did not speak out

because I was not a Rohingyan

 

Now when will they come for me

because I was too busy or too apathetic

to defend my sisters and brothers?
