A problem I have in science is sometimes  cant find a certain element on the periodic table right away. To fix my problem I have found an easy to use website that has ended all of my struggles. http://www.ptable.com The dynamic periodic table is a website that can be easily accessed by any computer.

 

On the website this is how the layout looks when you first enter it. You can
easily see the entire periodic table.

 

On the top right corner you can search for any element.

By searching an element it will then enlarge the specific element you searched.

 

 

If you click on any element it will bring up a website about it. This includes videos.

 

This website divides the periodic table into metals or non metals.

 

 

 

 

When you hover your mouse over the periodic table it will divide the table into a metal or non metal category.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This website helps me to memorize where the elements are located on the periodic table. After searching for the specific element it will show you where it can be found on the periodic table. Each of the elements are a different colour depending on wether it is a metal or non metal, because the elements are colour coated it as helped me to memorize if it is a metal or a non metal and where the element can be found on the periodic table. This website is very easy to figure out. As soon as you are on the site it is very visible that you are able to search for an element on the website. After you search the website does all of the work for you by finding  the element on the periodic table.  This website helps you to easily find an element of the periodic table and it also helps you to find out information on any element on the table. The only con about this website is that some of the ionic charge numbers are different than the numbers on our periodic tables we use at school. A pro about this website is all of the extra information it gives you to help you understand the element more. Another pro is that you don’t have to pay to use the website an you also don’t need to create a account or give them your email to use it. From this website I have memorized  where some of the elements are placed and I know some cool facts about some of the elements on the periodic table. DEBRIEF The reason I chose to look for a website like this was because I cant always find the element on the periodic table right away. To find this website I googled it, and a whole bunch of options came up , after looking through  all of my options, I chose this one and it really stood out for me  because of all the extra information it includes about the element. DREAMS My dreams for this website is to be used in classrooms during timed tests, this will really help  a lot of students to make sure they don’t waste anytime looking for an element while writing a test.
