Name of my host is Mark Wallace and he is my Dad.

Mark is the Branch Manager of the bank BMO. Being a Branch manager means you have to manage a team, achieve financial results, balance risk (be smart about who to lend money to), and deliver great customer service to clients. Some of the duties Mark preforms are conducting edit of investment sales, loans, products, and he looks for opportunities to
 build business in the community,Mark helps his team achieve their targets, and he helps to hire and train employees. To receive this job my Dad had to go to college, and then take Canadian securities course, financial planning courses, fellowship of Canadian bankers, and other courses as well. The experience my Dad has is he worked at other roles within the bank teller, financial service manager, and assistant branch manager. Some of the personal qualities Mark has to have is good communication skills verbal and listening skills, patience, and being able to work independently. My Dad enjoys developing employees and helping them through the  process with their own careers, he likes achieving sales goals, and getting to know his customers. My dad doesn’t like customer complaints or administration. In five years bank branches will be smaller due to digital transformation, fewer tellers, and branch roles will have more advice directed for clients. I like my Dads Job because you have your own office, the people he works with are nice and it is easy to make a lot of friends because everyone works together, the place his job is located is in a mall so you can go shopping on your lunch breaks. Somethings I don’t like about my Dads job is having to worry about all the money and having the power to take it out of the machines, sometimes the customers aren’t happy with their service and the complaints would start to annoy me after a while, my Dad always has to be cautious to always remember to lock up all of the vaults and he always has to remember to lock everything up. I don’t think this job will be good for me because you have to have a lot of patience with customers and there is too much pressure on me to remember to always lock the vault, one careless error could cost you your job.  After high school I would like to become a physiotherapist this requires going to university or a college. The experience of take your kid to work day has shown me how digital our world is becoming and much effort and dedication a job requires.
