Sonnet 5763
Many people fear the reaper of life and death
Black cloak shrouding identity and face
Always fearing as they breath their last breath
As the reaper takes but never gives grace.
Inside dying while the outside ages
While society degrades and kills us
Built-up anger inside hurt hearts rages
As we only learn to lie and distrust
Fighting and losing never winning
Losing life and giving sorrow
Reaper destroys hope and love beginning
Even young souls never see tomorrow
Death wins all fights even with love and hope
Life and death is walking on a tightrope
Sonnet 5763 ver. 2
Many people fear the reaper of life and death
Black cloak shrouding identity and face
Always fearing as they breath their last breath
As the reaper takes but never gives grace.
Inside dying while the outside ages
While society degrades and kills us
Built-up anger inside hurt hearts rages
As we only learn to lie and distrust
Fighting and losing never winning
Losing life and giving sorrow
Reaper against hope and love is losing
Even old love always sees tomorrow
Death loses fights with love and hope
Life and death is walking on a tightrope

Kaylin-Sonnet 5763
The sonnet was about death. Death and how it beats everything.
It felt gloomy and dark, because it talked about death which is unpleasant. Distress, death, destroys. I pictured a person lonely and sad who’s distressed. Inside dying, black cloak, fear. “As the reaper takes but never gives grace” because it felt like a strong line that stands out in the sonnet.
