Week 5 – math 10 – polynomial

This week we have started the chapter polynomial. In order to get into it, we have to know different elements in a polynomial expression, as it can let us solve and understand our question. First, when an expression is given, there will be a number of terms, they are monomial (one term), binomial (two terms), trinomial (three terms). Each term will usually have a coefficient, variable, exponent except the constant term which is lead at the end of the expression. there will also be a leading term which has the largest degree/exponent in the term and will always be leading in the front. in a term, the coefficient refers to the whole number, the variable refers to the unknowns which is x or y. The exponent usually refers to the degree.
