Community Connection

For this project, I have interviewed Unice Liu. She is a YouTuber. Some people may not know her or have heard of her is because she has just started creating content on YouTube. Not just started, but in the past few months. she creates amazing content like, productive day in my life, school night routine, self care days…etc.

The reason that i chose her was because she had just started like I mentioned before. She remembers the beginning journey of youtube. Some YouTuber’s don’t remember as much due to how far they have gotten in their career.

I chose to interview a YouTuber was because i want to become one. I find it super fun and interesting to edit videos and to film yourself doing something in the day/weekend…etc. It can interfere with your private life but most people keep to themselves everything that’s private but it’s how it is with other careers too. I don’t mind putting my private life out, unless it’s actually really personal.

The questions that I have asked her are:

  1. What are you passionate about your job?
  2. What obstacles have you faced to get where you are today?
  3. What advice would you pass on to someone interested in doing what you’re doing?
  4. Would you be open to further contact from Riverside students and if so, how can someone contact you?
  5. Is it hard to balance your personal life and your YouTube life?
  6. Where do you see yourself in 5 years with this career?

Here are the pictures:

The picture below is her instagram.

Interviewing someone who does my dream career really has made me thinking further. I don’t think I’d want to change my career decision. Starting YouTube does teach some time management for some people. Some people have certain dates when they want to post content. I really do like to just film for fun and edit for fun because I find it really interesting and fun and actually entertaining sometimes. But i kind of want to take it to the next level. by posting it so others can get entertained and hopefully get some motivation as well.

That’s all!
