I wrote the next chapter of the book, The Absolute True Story of a Part-Time Indian.
I left it as a cliffhanger so it would be more interesting, for, if there were a second book.

When I look at the image, I see disrespect. A lot of disrespect happening in this comic, and a lot of racism. Even though I’m white, it still feels disrespectful that a woman like that would say such a thing towards someone who wasn’t doing anything towards them or anyone else. They are still human. They are just like everyone else. The outside may look different, but the inside will always be the same as everyone else. I think that the image/picture is trying to raise awareness with other people about this, and that there are people in the world who think that no matter what other people do, (ex. Walking past someone, asking someone nicely to put their dog on a leash…etc.), takes it as a threat based on someone’s race, sexuality, culture…etc. So, they are probably trying to tell others that no matter what others do that isn’t ACTUALLY a threat, is useless to complain about because nothing will be done.
