This week in Pre Calculus we were preparing for our test consisting of graphing systems. This biggest thing that I struggled with in this unit was solving the systems algebraically. This was the hardest for me because of the amount of work that is involved to solve the systems it was also hard for me to memorize all the steps needed to complete the question. To complete these types of question we were given two equations for example:
The first step is to choose a system that will be your base for the equations. I Chose y=2x+5
Next, organize the other equation to the y=mx +b format
Next, you must put it into your base equations
Then you let algebra take over and solve for x
