This week, i learned about the “area model strategy” This strategy helps me with simplifying polynomials. It is a four or six boxed rectangle that helps with solving the equation.The area model is also useful for multiplying big numbers.The steps to do it is to first know what will be the “length” and “width” of the equation, Then i breakdown the numbers, for example 810= 800 and 10. Then i simplify or cancel what is inside of the box, after i take what is left inside the box and add them to get the final answer.
