Oh Captain by Walt Whitman  This person lost someone very close to them, her/his father the captain in the story is the hero, the narrative Is the child in the story her/ his message is to keep on fighting but its too late.  Has a rhyme scream.

I sing too America by Langston Hughes  The person reading the poem is a slave who is mistreated. They are forced to eat in the kitchen instead of with everyone in the dinning room. At the end they said that their masters will be ashamed for wronging someone who is beautiful. at  -Narrative

Art reflecting life by Thomas King  The artist has had a rough past. Now he is at the point of his life where he wants to forget his past and change his future.  Narrative
