We’ve been learning about the challenges Metis and First Nations were facing in the North West in the 1800s.  Tensions and inaction by the government of Canada will result in another uprising.

Today’s focus is to review the causes of the uprising and learn about the key leaders and events.  All work will be completed in a booklet – this is your lifeline for the unit essay so don’t lose it!

While students are completing work I will provide feedback to students on their Red River uprising paragraph.
