This course has been developed to give students an opportunity to extend the language concepts and skills they have developed so far and prepare them for post-secondary language study. The course will also encourage senior students to synthesize the French language skills they have mastered to date and apply these skills in a variety of activities. Students will further develop their abilities to express their thoughts and opinions in a variety of contexts including their identity as French-language learners, myths and stereotypes in French Immersion, and the perception of themselves and others. The students will also take on the responsibilities of teaching new skills to their peers and leading events in the French Immersion community.
