Reflection:

Two things that I’m proud of. I’m proud of the fact that I actually did the spoken word. That seems like a very low bar to set for myself but for me it was a pretty big deal. I’m not very good at putting my thoughts into words but I feel as though I did well. I’m also proud of the fact that I presented the spoken word. Yet another low bar, however, presenting anything is a challenge for me. Speaking in front of lots of people is honestly pretty easy for me but, presenting my own work is not so I’m proud that I presented.

Two things that I believe need improvement. For my next spoken word i really would like to have it more memorized then this time. My eyes didn’t often leave my phone as I didn’t know what I was saying, so , for the next time I would like it to be more memorized. Another thing I would like to change is the way I present. For the next time i would like to be able to look up and use my hands maybe even vary my tone of voice.
