Breakfast

For breakfast we planned the have potato pancakes with bacon on the bottom. For this recipe we bought bacon, eggs, potatoes and onions for a total cost of 4.31.

i think this recipe would taste very good and delicious because it has a nice browny look and it’s nice and crispy. The spices give the pancakes a nice flavour and this looks very healthy  the sweetness of the pancakes will taste very good with the saltiness of the bacon.

Classic Potato Pancakes

It’s this recipe however you will place bacon on the bottom and put the batter over a slice of bacon.

For lunch we planned to have potato soup. For the soup we needed to buy potatoes, sour cream, bacon, chicken stock, cheese,

I think the baked potatoes will taste very good for dinner. The potato will have a nice warm inside and a crip skin on the outside. With the sour cream on top and the green onions it will be very creamy and flavourful.

Information Fluency

Three strategies to find a reliable webpage in a world of hidden lies.

  1. Check if there is an about us page
  2. Check if it had been updated recently
  3. Find out who the intended audience is

Library Database- http://think.galegroup.com/ic/gic/?p=GIC&u=43riss

  1. Go to riverside home page
  2. Click on “Library” in grey bar
  3. Enter school account and password
  4. Click the things red text that says “Click Here” in the photo with the text “To access all of our library resources, catalogs and databases.
  5. Then enter in school account and password if needed again.

One thing that I learned is that even if the website looks real it could be fake and that the library has lots of resources that are available to me.

My Digital Footprint
1.How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities.
Your digital footprint could affect your future negatively or positively. It could take a job from you or give it to you. For example if you want a job you need to go through a job interview, after the interview the employer will most likely search you up to see what type of person you are and if they find bad things/inappropriate things you will not be hired. But if you want a job in for example the filming industry and you have a YouTube channel and you go for an interview and your potential employer searches you up and finds it he/she would know what your capable of.
2.Describe at least 3 ways to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe.
You should always search yourself up see what you can find, if you find something bad try your best to delete it. Think before you post anything or create an account on anything. Think if it’s worth it and if it could take any future opportunities. Delete any unnecessary accounts. This will make sure nobody can hack them and pretend to be you that way it protects you from somebody else ruining future opportunities.

3.What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students. How would you go about telling them.
I learned that your digital footprints is a lot bigger then you could have known and that it starts before you even born. I would probably tell this to someone by starting the conversation of with “Hey did you know…”.
