For my October lab reflection I chose to write about the cake In a mug lab. I picked this lab because although it was very simple it turned out really good and I really liked it. I really enjoyed this lab because it was super short and really fun to make with my group. I like how it was short because most of our labs take a good amount of the class time but this one only took about a quarter of the class time. It was easy to make which made clean-up easy and fast. You don’t need many ingredients so making this lab at home won’t be a problem. I really like how me and my groups cake In a mug turned out because I’ve never done this before and I wasn’t sure if it was going to turn out the way I wanted it to. I didn’t think it was going to puff up but it eventually did. My group worked really well with each other because although it was a very simple lab, we still all had a job to do. If I were to do this lab again I would maybe add more ingredients or different ingredients to try and see what works and what doesn’t work.
