My surrealism art includes metamorphosis and fragmentation to create a collage using mixed media. My art is two heads transforming into each other in front of a sky landscape.  The people in my art are surrounded by different beauty products and glitter, which is falling from the sky.

In my art I wanted to represent the feeling of being surrounded by make-up and the overwhelming feeling of fitting in. This is demonstrated in all the makeup surrounding the people, and their facial expressions that show helplessness and how they are not able to escape the feeling like they need to change their appearance using make up. This was inspired by commercials and advertising trying to project unrealistic beauty standards onto people. The commercials claim that their product can make you beautiful, but I think people tend to forget that beauty comes from within your self and no amount of makeup is more important than the way you treat others.
