(Langston Hughes)
(Harlem renaissance)

2 good things:

I organized the essay clearly. Two body paragraphs and conclusion is consistent with the thesis statement, which means I didn’t digress. Also, the ambition to try THAMO and FANBOYS, although the expression is not accurate enough.

2 things to improve:

Keep working on grammar expressing. And know the poems better before I started writing.

16 Personalities

My personality type is Turbulent Advocate, which is very rare. The person with this personality, like me, would like to help others as our purpose in life. The inherent traits of idealism and morality are born with this type of person. In addition, this type of person only making up less than one percent of the population, yet they nonetheless leave their mark on the world. The best three words that can describe me are passionate, insightful and helpful. My first strength is creative. A vivid imagination and a strong sense of compassion promote me to become a good listener or even a counsellor. Also, I am an altrusive person. I prefer to benefit others rather than action, which is selfish. My two glaring weaknesses are sensitive and perfectionistic. I am highly vulnerable to criticism and conflict, so I often question the validity of my actions to help others, and my self-esteem is often damaged. Trying to make everything perfect always leads to embarrassment. When I need to finish an experiment report, I always check the details so that I often miss the deadline. “In friendship, it’s as though Advocates are searching for a soulmate, someone who shares every facet of their passions and imagination.” I entirely agree with the sentence in the conclusion of Friendship,” Like Finding a Needle in a Haystack”. For myself, making friends is Like Finding a Needle. Because of the kind of Friendship I seek is one of enduring mutual understanding, which is different from most people. I think the test results have been of great help to me. After a deep understanding of myself, I will have a clear picture of my strengths and weaknesses. In the process of learning or future career planning, I can flexibly use my strengths or continuously make up for my shortcomings to constantly improve myself. After investigation, I created a strong personal awareness about myself, and this allows me to build a clear perception of my personality, strengths, weaknesses and relationships with others. Self Awareness also enables me to understand other people, how they perceive me, my attitude and my responses to them at the moment. In my opinion, these tests own some drawbacks. Firstly, people’s personality will change as the time pass. So the conclusion, which tests provide will be inaccurate. In Business Insider, research done by Roman Krznaric, researchers will have a 50% chance get different results opposed to their initial results if they do the same test after five weeks. Secondly, It is difficult to frame a person’s personality in terms of questions that only allow the tester to choose to agree and disagree.
