On Nov. 24th, 2016, we had a Skype chat with Eladio, Dennis, and their students in the Dominican Republic. During the Skype chat we learned a lot about the light poverty in the Dominican Republic and how their living conditions were and they also answered a lot of questions we had about the light poverty.
We also had a Skype chat with Mr. Fogarty and his class on Nov. 29th, 2016. This class from New Brunswick really helped us with the Engineering Brightness project and answered a lot of questions about the lights that they made. And they helped us better understand how it works and it helped us with our ideas for the project.
My partner and I were planning on working with solar power because we thought that it was much easier because you dont have to buy batteries all the time and you can just charge it with a solar power, and we think that solar power is much safer and we found solar power very interesting and thought it would be a really cool experience. We plan on connecting with some other company’s and get the opinions from other students.
We learned a lot from the Skype chat Eladio, Dennis and their students. They told us about the light poverty that they have and about their living conditions and a lot more interesting information. And Mr. Fogarty told us about what materials worked and which ones did not. And he helped us with our ideas and answered our questions and he gave us some really good advice.

i really liked the detail you put in your post. i also like your idea about using a solar powered light, me and my group had the same idea. we would love to make you a shell for your light through our drafting and design class. but i was wondering what your question was for eladio and dennis and also what other interesting information you learned from them
