Unit 2 Summary Assignment

Link

I found exponents, squares and square roots quite easy to understand although I was confused once in awhile.

I sometimes struggle with square roots and whether or not the answer should be positive or negative.

Finding irrational square roots confuses me because I sometimes don’t know when to stop putting more numbers on the end.

Overall square roots are easier for me to do than squares and exponents.

The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nighttime

Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time: Amazon.ca: Haddon, Mark: Books

I think that the book cover is pretty good but there is a lot of things that irk me about it. For example, when you look at the book upside down, you think it is the right way up because of the dog being upside down. That got me about twenty times before I got it right – and still I sometimes get it wrong! The cover doesn’t explain the story that much because it is only orange and has a black dog on it.

I think this book cover is much more suitable because it actually has night time written all over it and it doesn’t have a upside down dog that makes you open the book upside down and question your very existence. It took me a very long time and the coloration on the moon took like an hour and I don’t think that it was worth it.
