Lab Report:
Materials:
1 hard-boiled egg
1 glass bottle
1 lit match
1 roll of news paper
Steps:
Light the bottom of the newspaper roll and put it upside-down into the bottle. As it burns, put the hard boiled egg on top of the bottle, making sure no air passes through. Since the fire is burning up all the oxygen in the bottle, it creates a vaccum which is strong enough to suck the egg through the top of the bottle.

We were able to perform this experiment without any complications, except that we had to re-do the experiment once for filming purposes since Sierra’s hand was in the wrong place at the wrong time, looking as if she had pushed the egg into the bottle.
