$y=x^3 + 2x^2 + 3x +2$

$y=x(x+3)^2$

You should first simplify each equation then put them in front of each other.

$y=x(x^2+6x+9)$

$y=x^3+6x^2+9x$

$x^3+6x^2+9x=x^3+2x^2+3x+2$

$4x^2+6x+2=0$

Now you can use factoring to solve the equation:

$(2x+1)(2x+2)=0$

$x_1=-1/2$ $x_2=-1$
