Salad Rolls

Yes, I enjoyed this lab.  I enjoyed this salad rolls lab because it’s more complex.  You had to cut up many veggies and I also dealt with ingredients I don’t normally deal with such as, rice noodles, shrimp, and rice paper.

If I had the choice to add something to the salad rolls I would add broccoli.  I just feel like little pieces of broccoli would add more texture and taste. This would add vitamins and minerals such as, vitamin B6, vitamin E, manganese, phosphorus, choline, vitamin A, potassium, copper, zinc, calcium, iron, niacin, and selenium.  Broccoli is also a good source of omega 3 fatty acids, fiber, and protein.

Deep frying is unhealthy because of the amount of saturated fats. The amount of grease and oil puts you at risk for a high cholesterol and heart disease.  A sneck could be healthy, but once you deep fry it, it immediately turns unhealthy due to the high levels of saturated fats and oils.
