Collaboration Fluency Biome Sway
Examine:
During this collaboration fluency sway project about biomes I will be honest me and my team had some difficulties. But I’m proud of them because we finished it on time and got through those difficulties. Some things we struggled with was, fully understanding this project. A big misunderstanding we had was the due date. Now we thought it was due Friday but our teacher said it was due at the end of that class. We had forty minutes left when we found that out and only had our questions done. We managed to finish answering the all those questions and also managed to find pictures. We finished it on time and to the best of our abilities. So in conclusion improvements could be made during the understanding aspect. But the communication was great between my team members and the ideas were definitely flowing.
The Life of a Genetic Mutation.
I occur through ones early development. I am a hereditary condition. I cause negative effects. I may be x-linked recessive, autosomal recessive, or autosomal dominant. I am evil. And I am in millions of bodies as we speak. You must be asking what I am? I have nine brothers and sisters that I know of. Myotonic, duchenne, becker, limb-girdle, facioscapulohumeral, congenital, oculopharyngeal, distal, and emery-dreifuss.
We all have one thing in common and that is our hobbie. We all like to gradually weaken muscles over time and decrease muscle mass. My brothers and sisters and I are all quite good at it too. We normally affect males beginning around the age of four. The reason why we are alive is because we are all a mutated gene that prevents the bodies we are in, from making proteins that are needed to build and maintain healthy muscles.
I really see no harm in this because I am a mutated gene living life just trying to do the job I was made to do… Right? Well I have heard from my brothers and sisters that apparently the bodies I am in think of me differently due to the fact that I weaken there muscles. And the fact that I gradually take there abilities away such as walking, sitting upright, breathing easily, and the abilitiy to move their arms and hands. I could even give them learning disabilities if the brain is affected by the lack of properly-functioning dystrophin.
At first when I enter the bodies I choose, I cause them to stumble, waddle, cause difficulty going up stairs, cause them to walk on their toes, make them struggle to sit up straight, and I give them a hard time when trying to push things. The bodies I am in develop large calf muscles and I can eventually put them in wheelchairs.
For me there is no cure. Physical therapy, braces, corrective surgery might help some symptoms. Assisted ventilation may be required for weakness of breathing muscles. Depending on how serious I am, some medications include steroids to slow muscle degeneration, anticonvulsants to control seizures, and immunosuppressants to delay damage to dying muscle cells. To help me research I used questions like: What affects the body it is in? What is muscular dystrophy? What are the types? What are the symptoms? What are the symptoms at first?
I verified the site info by researching on multiple sites to see if the information matched up.
The process was pretty simple and easy for me. I am satisfied with my work and I don’t think there is anything I would change.

Define:
Experimenting with chemical elements and mixing them together by yourself to see their reaction without actually physically using them.
Dream:
Some possible solutions to this problem are searching up some videos to watch the reaction. Or maybe find an app that allows you to do that. Or find a website that allows you to do that.
Deliver:
My solution to this problem is the app called BEAKER which is found in the app store. This app allows you to mix any amount of elements together to form a substance and see it’s reaction. You are also able to heat or light the chemical elements. You are able to mix the chemical elements together by shaking your device. It also tells you the weight of the element that there in grams and the temperature in celsius. Another cool feature is that you can air mix your solutions. That means if you have another device with a mixture or your friend does you can simply ‘air’ pour your solution out of your beaker into theirs creating a new one.

Debreif:
Some down sides about this app is that some features cost money and at first it’s a little hard to understand. But good news is that the main idea of this app is free, that idea is to see it’s chemical reaction. Also after using it for a bit you know how to use it and understand it.

An overview of this app is that it’s innovative because you can use this app to see reactions between chemical elements without actually using those chemical elements in real life. This is a good idea because if you have to write about a reaction you can simply do it at home. I also feel like this app would be really good app to use for completing labs at home.
