The kebob house a Taste of The Middle East

The Kebob House, a small Persian restaurant located in the heart of Port Coquitlam. I am always excited to go to this place because this is somewhere where my dad, my brother and I go to eat, we don’t get to spend much time together because my dad and brother are working all the time so this is a nice place to go and talk about what is going on in our lives. We don’t get to do this too often. The first thing you notice when you enter the restaurant is how clean and modern it is, there is nice tile work and black slate compliments the stone walls. There are nice pictures on the wall giving it a middle eastern feel, as well a small tv playing up beat Persian music in the background. The restaurant is small but contains various table arrangements, if you choose to dine in. If you choose take out you can sit in the chairs and personally watch your kebob being cooked over the open flame just like they do it in the Middle East. When you choose to dine in you get to choose where you want to sit and are greeted by a nice lady who brings pita bread and your choice of drink, while you wait for your food to be freshly cooked. The most common things ordered at this restaurant is the kebob hence the name of the restaurant you can order, chicken, beef or ground beef. I usually order the ground beef and rice because it’s my favourite. You can also have half rice and half salad if you choose. What makes the kebob so divine is that it’s fresh off the open flame and packed with spices that make it delicious. When I am served my food the first thing I smell is the saffron rice which has a delicate smell, flavour which gives it a bright yellow colour. The portions are a fair size so you are paying a good price for what you get. While eating you don’t feel uncomfortable because the restaurant is very casual you don’t have to get all dressed up to come eat here. There is also a nice view of Shaughnessy St, if you are facing the window which I always do because I like to look at the cars go by. Once I start eating I can’t stop eating this food until It’s all gone because it’s so mouth watering good. In conclusion the delicious food casual atmosphere and great service will make this a hit on my list
