Reflection:
Personally what I thought was most successful in my project was the story line of my character and the feelings that I portrayed throughout the story. I also felt that as a whole everyone was successful when they tried making their journals look as old as possible. What I would have liked is if we could have had more say in the criteria of the immigration journal, other than that I wouldn’t have changed anything. While doing this assignment I learned more about black slavery and how it effected those who lived through it, I also learned how to tea stain. I thought that the project was a fun and creative way to further understand slavery and the immigration to Canada.
