3 Words: volleyball, intensity, undefeated

I choose these things from my story because I feel that they represent what the story is about. It sets the mood for the story and the 3 words each do something impactful in their own way. Volleyball sets the image of the story, Intensity sets the emotion and it shows how hard the players worked, and undefeated shows the outcome as well as some emotion. This tells me that when creating powerful poetry you don’t need a lot of fancy words, that most times all it takes is one word or a simple sentence to create emotion and something that impacts the reader. From this exercise it taught me that when I write I don’t have to make it fancy with lots of wording. Just using something simple can create the feeling easier as well as being better.
