As a British Official, I realize there are many alternatives to governing Quebec. I have chosen the policy of Isolation to ensure the colony is properly run. I believe that Isolation is the best option because each colony ( British – French – First Nations) will have their own territory and will be able to keep their customs, laws and language. Each territory will have its own system of government and the people living in these reserves will be protected by the government. This is the best option because people will be able to live in their own customs instead of living by another colonies rules. It should prevent uprisings and attacks against different people.
As I have outlined above, I believe the best policy for governing Quebec is Isolation. This will ensure that the colony will remain under British control and provide wealth for our glorious country.
