This week in math we started learning about multiplying polynomials. We learned a few tricks to get answers for them one of my favourite ways was foil. I will be showing you how to do foil.
Step 1-
Understand the order of foil.
Step 2- First
multiply the first two terms (pink highlight)
Step 3- Outside
multiply the outside terms (yellow highlight)
Step 4- Inside
Multiply the inside terms (green highlight)
Step 5- Last
multiply the last terms (blue highlight)
Step 6-
Put together like terms
Step 7- Done
