- PE 9 Calendar – The calendar is on the top of the PE 9 Teams page. The class will be meeting on Monday and Wednesday’s, 9:00 am to 10:00 am, Friday’s will be used as a flex time period. Please check the calendar for updates to the schedule. Stay organised and stay active.
- Perceived Exertion – In the Fitness channel on PE 9 Teams, under files, is a document that outlines perceived exertion. Please review this document, it has important information about rating your personal exertion. This document will walk you through:
- What is perceived exertion?
- Why is perceived exertion important?
- How can I measure my perceived exertion?
- How can I use the Riverside Perceived Exertion Scale?
- Fitness Logs – We want all our Rapids to stay safe and healthy. We are strongly encouraging at least 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous intensity activity per day, for a total of 150 minutes per week. That is your goal. Your challenge is simple. Stay active. Honestly and accurately self-assess and record your activity. What does the challenge look like:
- Go to the Fitness channel on your PE 9 Teams page
- Find the workouts that are being provided each Monday, Wednesday and Friday (these are going to change week to week, we will make them interesting, challenging and fun).
- Complete the workout to the best of your ability
- Complete the activity log on your Fitness channel after your workout is done. Use the RPE to self-assess yourself.
