Tim Horton’s Speech

Tim Hortons

Pots brewing, smoke steaming. “Welcome to Tim Hortons, how can I help you “

Must grab a muffin to bring to the drive through

On the way back, I just had to, so I asked for your name

Oh, how lame, but little did I know it would change this whole game

Of life “can I be your wife”. WOOOAH too soon! Not yet you goon

Stop talking to yourself and do something

Insta and snap were exchanged

And a couple days later a streak was born, Phone blowing up with notifications

21 questions? Check !

Favourite colour? Red

Personal background? Clean!!

Is this basically an interview? No, I just really want to get to know you

Christmas and New Years were spent sending texts. What’s next?

My resolution for new years was to steal your heart

That’s probably the hardest part

6 months later you were mine, finally asking if I would be your girlfriend

Bingo! It worked! How often does that happen?

Am I in the movies?

I don’t hear the live audience clappin’

Now finally it’s been 3 years.

3 years of craziness intertwined with happiness

The start was filled with animals dug in my stomach

Each day kept getting better and better, it’s crazy how time flies

You’re not like most guys

Calls would extend until 4am. Without trying, talking about who knows what

The bus became one of the wonders of the world as I found it to be our meeting ground.

Safe and sound

I was careful what to say because any day it could change the way you see me

But of course, as time flew, so does my knowledge of you

I learned I could say whatever I wanted because you are the kindest, most non-judgemental person I’ve ever met, I bet

I’m sorry that sometimes your bank goes down the drain, I hope it doesn’t cause you pain, and you should know that you’re the only one that keeps me sane

Every month when the time comes, and the beast is unleashed, you show just how sweet you can be

As you try your best to “NOT GET SCREAMED”, and you always come through with the necessities and candies

These 3 years have been filled with amazing memories, stories, and lessons; and I pray we don’t lose our essence. Hey, we’ve been through a couple rough times too, but we always stay true. Who would’ve thought this this whole thing was made possible because of a Tim Horton’s drive through.
