In class we had 2 presenters Kayla and Ian come in. We played many different games, and we learned different facts about Shakespeare. In this picture we were making a comedy tableau, which was one of our activities. We also learned how to understand Shakespeare better. My favourite game that we played was was the “Simon says” game, but it was “Much Ado About Nothing” themed. My favourite part about the presentation was that we were very involved in it. It was not just us watching a play being performed. My least favourite thing was that the whole class was only playing games the whole three days. With no learning really being done. Although i did learn some curse words in Shakespearean language, and that there are 4 genres Shakespeare wrote about. Which are Comedy, Tragedy, Romance, and History. As for learning about the play we really didn’t do much of that, but I do understand that there is two couples, one being a young couple, and one being older. I also know that there is a bad man, trying to break up one of the couples. The play “Much Ado About Nothing” actually means “A Lot of Worrying About Gossip”, and it is a comedy. The presentation really helped me understand Shakespearean language better and it showed me that learning about Shakespeare doesn’t have to be boring.
